Terms of Service

Last updated: [date]

These terms are an agreement between [Company legal name] ("we", "us"), the company behind FirstCrew, and the business that creates an account ("you"). By creating an account you agree to them.

1. The service

We provide a web app for running a service business: customers, jobs, visits, quotes, payments and team management ("the Service"). We may improve, change or remove features. We will tell you in advance about changes that make the Service work noticeably worse.

2. Your account

You must give correct information and keep your password secret. You are responsible for everything done with your account and for the people you add as technicians. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a contract.

3. Free trial, price and payment

New accounts get a free trial of [14] days. After the trial the Service needs a paid subscription at the price shown when you subscribe ([price] per [month], plus taxes where they apply). Payments are handled by our payment provider, Stripe. The subscription renews automatically until you cancel.

You can cancel at any time from the app. After you cancel, the Service stays available until the end of the period you already paid for. [Refund policy, for example: we do not give refunds for a period that has started, unless the law says otherwise.]

If the trial ends or a payment fails, your account becomes read-only: you can still see and export your data, but you cannot add or change it until the subscription is active.

4. Your data

Your business data (customers, jobs, quotes, payments, photos) belongs to you. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the Service. You can export your data at any time from Settings. If you close your account we delete your data after [30] days, except what the law requires us to keep.

You are responsible for having the right to store the information about your customers and for following the laws that apply to your business, including laws about text messages and email to customers.

5. Acceptable use

You will not misuse the Service: no illegal content, no attempts to break into other accounts, no overloading the system, no reselling access without our written agreement.

6. The Service is a tool, not advice

Quotes, price calculations, commissions, taxes and safety information in the Service are tools you control. We do not give legal, tax, accounting or safety advice. You are responsible for the work you do and for the prices and documents you send to your customers.

7. Availability and backups

We work to keep the Service running and make regular backups, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. Download your own backup regularly.

8. Our responsibility

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost business or indirect damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the [12] months before the claim.

9. Ending the agreement

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or is not paid, and we will tell you why when we can.

10. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms we will tell you by email or in the app before the change starts. If you keep using the Service after that, you accept the new terms.

11. Law and contact

These terms follow the laws of [state / country]. Questions: [support email]. [Company address].
